Housing Authority Sets Hearing on FY27 Annual Plan
Winchendon's public calendar is full of community and civic activity in the coming days, led by the Beals Memorial Library's ongoing Summer Reading Club and a slate of board and committee meetings at Town Hall.

Several town boards have meetings scheduled in the coming week, including the Youth Commission and the Conservation Commission on Thursday, July 9, followed by the Winchendon Redevelopment Authority, Board of Selectmen, and Board of Health on Monday, July 13. The Winchendon Housing Authority is also scheduled to hold a public hearing on its proposed Fiscal Year 2027 annual plan on Tuesday, July 14, alongside a Finance Committee meeting the same day.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Beals Memorial Library's Summer Reading Club continues this week, with sessions scheduled for Thursday, July 9, Friday, July 10, and Monday, July 13. The library is also hosting a Land Conservation Presentation with the Mt. Grace Land Conservation Trust on Thursday, July 9, along with a Beals Book Club meeting and a Storytime program on Friday, July 10.
Parks and Recreation has a busy month ahead as well, with a "Sunset Socials: Island Vibes" event set for Saturday, July 11, and a "Wandering Wednesdays" program scheduled for July 15, 22, and 29. Later in the month, the town will host "Into The Floyd — An Interstellar Journey Into the Music of Pink Floyd" on Saturday, July 18, a free community open mic and picnic in the park on Friday, July 24, and a concert by The Reminisants on Saturday, July 25.
