Grafton Voters Head to Polls Tuesday for State Primary

Grafton residents vote Tuesday in the 2026 State Primary, with polls open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the town moderator is recruiting a volunteer for an open seat on the Charter Review Committee.

Town officials confirmed that polls will be open across Grafton on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the 2026 State Primary Election, giving residents a 13-hour window to cast ballots.

Separately, the Town Moderator is seeking an interested resident to fill a vacancy on the Charter Review Committee. The committee is conducting a full review of Grafton's Home Rule Charter and plans to recommend changes at the Oct. 18, 2027 Town Meeting.

Grafton Public Library will adjust its hours for the holiday weekend, opening at noon on Friday, Sept. 4, and closing entirely from Saturday, Sept. 5, through Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Voters go to the polls Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the State Primary. The Board of Registrars of Voters meets Wednesday, Sept. 2, the same day the Grafton Farmers Market returns to the Common and the North Grafton/North Street PTG holds its meeting at 6:30 p.m. The School Committee's Budget Subcommittee meets Thursday, Sept. 3. There is no school Friday, Sept. 4, the same day the library shifts to a noon opening. Town offices and schools are closed Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day, and the library remains closed through that day.
