Grafton High School Adds New Assistant Principal Ahead Of School Year
GRAFTON — Grafton High School has added an assistant principal to its administrative team ahead of the Aug. 26 first day of school, according to Grafton Patch. Town Hall, meanwhile, is asking residents to weigh in on federal funding priorities and the town's mosquito control program returns to Grafton this week.

The Grafton Senior Center's front entrance and its associated parking spots remain closed for ramp construction that began July 27, with the closure expected to last through the end of August. The Select Board is also collecting resident input on a list of ideas it plans to send to U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern for federal earmark requests; an online survey asks residents to select up to three funding priorities or submit their own ideas.
The Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project is scheduled to spray in Grafton again this week, with tentative dates of Aug. 13, 20 and 27, following an Aug. 6 application. Dates remain subject to change based on weather.

Grafton Public Schools held the first of two Chromebook pickup sessions for incoming sixth graders Wednesday morning at the Grafton High/Middle School parking lot, with a second pickup set for Aug. 19.
