Douglas Select Board Unanimously Approves 20-Article Town Meeting Warrant

DOUGLAS — May 4, 2026 — Douglas Select Board approves full 20-article warrant for annual and special town meeting. The board voted unanimously Monday night to clear all 20 articles for action at the upcoming annual and special town meeting, with no carryovers from prior sessions. Articles 12 and 13, covering planning and community development matters, were flagged for dedicated staff presentation, with the town planner and community development director assigned to lead those items and at least one board member pledging to back them up. The remaining articles were described as straightforward, with department leads prepared to address each. The motion carried after one member offered "the gratitude of this board to all the staff that made this document possible."
