Athol Public Library Adopts New Hours, Closes Monday for Independence Day

**Friday, July 3** — The Athol Public Library will close early today at 1:30 p.m., consistent with its Friday schedule, and will remain closed Monday, July 6, in observance of Independence Day. Regular hours resume Tuesday, July 8.

**Tuesday, July 1 (in effect)** — New library hours took effect this week at 568 Main Street. The library now operates Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to varying closing times, with Friday hours running 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to check the library's website or call (978) 249-9515 for the full updated schedule.
