Athol Library's Escape Room Runs Tuesday and Wednesday This Week

The Athol Public Library will run multiple sessions of its escape room challenge, "Escape From the Terrible Thicket," on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, with registration required for each time slot.

The library's escape room, "Escape From the Terrible Thicket," runs across multiple sessions on July 22 and July 23, and organizers are asking participants to register ahead of time. The event follows the library's recent Teen Jeopardy afternoon and continues a summer slate of hands-on programming for kids and teens.

Looking further out, the library has added two new craft programs to its August calendar: a Paint by Number Bookmarks session on Tuesday, August 4, from 3:30 to 5 p.m., and a Learn to Make Beeswax Wraps workshop on Thursday, August 6, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The library is also still collecting entries for its "Cosplay Ducks!" contest, with submissions open through Friday, July 31, at noon.
