Athol Library Opens Registration for "Terrible Thicket" Escape Room

ATHOL — The Athol Public Library is rolling out a run of new programs for late July and August, headlined by a two-day "Escape From the Terrible Thicket" escape room this week that requires advance registration.

COMMUNITY & ARTS The library has opened registration for "Escape From the Terrible Thicket," an escape-room-style program running in multiple sessions on Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23. The library says spots are limited and registration is required to take part.

Younger patrons have two more chances to get involved this month. Teen Jeopardy is set for Monday, July 20, at 3:30 p.m., and the library's "Cosplay Ducks" submission contest — inviting patrons to dress up a duck and enter it for display — remains open through Friday, July 31, at noon after opening July 7.
